Jewell is a small town located in Warren County, Georgia, United States. It has a population of fewer than 200 people, making it one of the smallest towns in the state. The town was named after Abel Jewell, who donated land for a railroad station in the area. Jewell is situated approximately 50 miles west of Augusta and 100 miles east of Atlanta. The town is primarily residential, with most of its residents commuting to nearby cities for work and other activities.
